舆论的逆流：冷战语境下《芝加哥卫报》塑造的中国共产党形象及其外宣策略启示

摘要: 20世纪60年代美国黑人报刊《芝加哥卫报》书写了中国共产党是民权运动的支持者、黑人同胞的亲近者和中国现代化的缔造者形象。《卫报》通过对中国共产党形象的多样化书写以达到寻求外部支持、倒逼美国政治改革、解构白人统治话语体系的复杂诉求。《卫报》对中国共产党形象的塑造突破了冷战时期美国国内主流舆论对中国共产党的刻板认知，展现了舆论场域的复杂性与多样性。通过剖析这一案例，可以为中国共产党的外宣工作提供以下启示：首先，应充分认识国际传播受众的多样性，注重传播策略的精细化和针对性；其次，聚焦传播受众与中国价值理念的共鸣点，以共情叙事创造共识；最后，应厘清传播受众对政党形象的历史认知，基于历史积淀优化传播策略，以构建更具说服力和影响力的中国叙事国际传播格局。

Abstract: In the 1960s, the Chicago Guardian, an American black newspaper, described the image of the Communist Party of China as a supporter of the civil rights movement, a close friend of black compatriots and a founder of China’s modernization. Through the diversified writing of the image of the Communist Party of China, the Guardian achieves the complex demands of seeking external support, forcing the political reform of the United States and deconstructing the discourse system of white rule. The Guardian’s portrayal of the image of the Communist Party of China breaks through the stereotyped understanding of the Communist Party of China by the mainstream public opinion in the United States during the Cold War, and shows the complexity and diversity of the public opinion field. By analyzing this case, we can provide the following Enlightenments for the publicity work of the Communist Party of China: first, we should fully understand the diversity of international communication audiences and pay attention to the refinement and pertinence of communication strategies; second, we should focus on the resonance point between communication audiences and Chinese values and create consensus with empathy narrative; third, we should focus on the relationship between communication audiences and Chinese values; Finally, we should clarify the audience’s historical cognition of the image of political parties and optimize the communication strategy based on historical accumulation in order to build a more convincing and influential international communication pattern of Chinese narrative.
