地缘政治风险对高端制造业出口的影响研究——来自全球 17 国的证据

摘要: 文章基于2003—2021年全球17个国家高端制造业出口数据，从出口规模和出口技术复杂度两个维度探究了地缘政治风险(Geopolitical Risk，GPR)对高端制造业出口的影响，并考察了其中的异质性特征及路径。研究发现，地缘政治风险促进了高端制造业的出口规模和技术复杂度，这种促进对低出口规模与技术复杂度的国家更为显著，且对中低端制造业而言，地缘政治风险会降低其出口技术复杂度；数字化水平对高端制造业出口也存在促进作用。中介效应分析表明，对外开放度是主要路径。文章拓宽了地缘政治风险对高端制造业出口冲击的研究，为政府采取相应的风险管理提供了参考。

Abstract: This study explores the influence of geopolitical risk (GPR) on high-end manufacturing exports in 17 countries from 2003 to 2021, focusing on export scale and technological complexity. It also investigates the heterogeneous characteristics and path involved. The study finds that geopolitical risk promotes the export scale and technological complexity of high-end manufacturing industries. This eff ect is particularly pronounced in countries with lower export scale and technological complexity. Moreover, for medium to low-end manufacturing industries, geopolitical risk reduces their export technological complexity. Furthermore, the level of digitization also has a positive impact on high-end manufacturing exports. Mediation analysis indicates that the level of openness to foreign markets is the main path. This study contributes to the comprehension of how geopolitical risk affects high-end manufacturing exports and provides insights for governments in developing relevant risk management strategies.
