摘要: 1920年余叔岩首次莅沪，上座未尽如人意，原因错综复杂。现有诸多回忆、记述均归咎为“票房捣乱”和余嗓音欠响，与史实多有凿枘。《余叔岩传》更在这些错误基础上曲解捏造，当下的研究者或不明究竟，当作信史，大量引用，严重影响论证的准确性、合理性，故亟需辨正。

Abstract: In 1920, Yu Shuyan’s first performance in Shanghai did not achieve full theater capacity, due to a complex set of reasons. Many existing recollections and accounts attribute this to "disruptions by amateur Peking opera groups" and Yu Shuyan’s insufficiently powerful voice, which do not align with historical facts. "The Biography of Yu Shuyan" further distorts and fabricates these errors. Contemporary researchers, potentially unaware of the true situation, may accept these distorted accounts as historical fact, leading to widespread citation and severely affecting the accuracy and reasonableness of conclusions. Therefore, it is crucial to correct these misconceptions.
