近代报刊的兴起为贺年礼俗的媒介延展提供了新的载体,从登门贺年到登报贺年,行为的转变意味着背后的社会文化氛围发生了变化。研究在回顾媒介对春节习俗影响的基础上,通过对既有史料的梳理,呈现了报纸介入礼俗生活的时代背景、贺岁拜年活动在报纸上的演变过程,在这个过程中,贺岁拜年礼俗的情感价值被消解,商业价值、政治价值被凸显出来,形成了早期“礼”的商业化、政治化、媒介化倾向,且由于登报贺年的主体集中在政府、商界及社会精英群体,在其废旧历倡导阳历新年的政治意图推动下,传统内涵丰富的贺岁拜年实践被高度文本化,形成了仪式性展演的贺年图景。
Abstract: The rise of modern newspapers and periodicals provides a new carrier for the media extension of New Year’s etiquette. The change from paying New Year calls in person to doing so in newspapers means that the social and cultural atmosphere behind it has changed. Based on reviewing the influence of media on Spring Festival customs, through sorting out existing historical materials, this study presents the background of newspapers’ intervention in etiquette life and the evolution process of New Year greetings activities in newspapers. In this process, the emotional value of New Year greetings etiquette is dispelled, while commercial and political values are highlighted, forming the early tendency of commercialization, politicization and medialization of "etiquette". Moreover, since the subjects of New Year greetings in newspapers are concentrated in the government, business circles and social elite groups, under the political intention of abolishing the lunar calendar and advocating the Gregorian New Year, the rich traditional New Year greetings practice is highly textualized, forming a New Year picture of ritual performance.
