民国初期江南城市报刊的“地方性”实践——基于绍兴《越铎日报》（1912-1927）的探讨

摘要: 江南地区在近代可视为一种地方共同体的想象，而报刊在其中的凝聚力和引领性不可小觑。其腹地城市的地方报刊作为彼时的“新媒介”,具体表现为一种“地方性”的实践，介入城市日常运作之中。本文以民国绍兴地区发行量和影响力最大的进步报刊《越铎日报》为蓝本，剖析该报组织运作逻辑、版面编辑技术和文本编撰准则等，揭示地方报刊作为一种主动性力量，不仅显现了一个试图融入“世界”网络中的“地方”，还在一定程度上潜移默化地促成着“城市”的改革和现代“市民”行为观念的形成。

Abstract: Jiangnan area can be regarded as an imagination of a local community in modern times, and the cohesive force and leading role of newspapers within it should not be underestimated. As the "new media" at that time, the local newspapers in the hinterland cities of Jiangnan specifically manifested as a kind of practice for the “Place” and were integrated into the daily operation of the cities. Based on the Yue Duo Daily, a progressive newspaper with the largest circulation and influence in Shaoxing of the Republic of China, this article analyzes the organization and operation logic, layout editing techniques, and text compilation principles of this newspaper. It reveals that local newspapers, as an active force, not only not only represent a "place" that tries to integrate into the "world" network, but also, to a certain extent, it promotes the transformation of the "city" and the formation of modern "citizens" behavioral concepts .
