摘要: 随着全球教育信息化的快速推进,数字教材的建设与发展受到国内外的广泛关注。数字化、教育信息化和新冠疫情是中美高校数字教材发展的共同背景,但是两者的具体发展环境也各具特色。提出数字教材的四阶段发展论,即纸质教材数字化翻版阶段,教材数字化增强阶段,数字教材解决方案阶段,数字教材智能化、生态化发展阶段;并据以对中美当前的数字教材发展阶段和发展水平进行判断。认为美国在市场主导下,高校数字教材发展呈现多供应主体、数字化、集成化程度高并逐步转向智能化的特点,其大型出版商较早投资技术领域,积极研发数字教材,并逐步转型为数字教育解决方案提供商;中国高校教材数字化前期发展缓慢,但在行政力量主导下,呈现出巨大发展潜力,其中大型出版社多通过技术合作,围绕纸质教材进行配套数字资源建设,并进行了智能化数字教材解决方案的初步探索。然而高校教材数字化进程远未终止,未来在开放教育环境下如何找准自身定位和发展方向,是两国需要长期考量的问题。
Abstract: With the rapid development of global education informatization, the construction and development of digital textbooks has received widespread attention at both domestic and international level; digitization, education informatization, and the ravages of the Covid-19 are common contexts for the development of digital textbooks in Chinese and American universities, but each has its own distinct development environment. A four-stage development theory of digital textbooks is proposed: digital reprinting of paper textbooks, digital enhancement of textbooks, digital textbooks as part of solutions and intelligent and ecological development of digital textbooks; Basing on the four-stage model, a judgment on the current development of digital textbooks in China and in America has been made. On one hand, It is believed that the development of digital teaching materials in universities in the United States is characterized by multi-supplier, high degree of digitalization and integration, and gradually turning to intelligence under the market leadership. Its large publishers invests in the technology field comparatively earlier, actively develops digital teaching materials, and gradually transforms into digital education solution providers. On the other hand, the digitalization of teaching materials in Chinese universities is slower in the early stage, but under the leadership of administrative forces, it shows great potential for development. Most of the large publishing houses, through technical cooperation, build supporting digital resources around paper teaching materials, and carry out the initial exploration of intelligent solutions for digital teaching material. However, the process of digitalization of college textbooks is far from over. How to find their own position and future direction against the backdrop of open education is a long-term consideration for both countries.
