跨文化语境下中国古典园林的四重身份——以北美为中心的考察

摘要: 当前,中国古典园林在跨文化语境的北美地区拥有四重不同身份,分别是作为中华文化艺术承载媒介的古典园林,作为多元社会“前台”的古典园林、作为文化互动“纪念碑”的古典园林、作为身份认同场域的古典园林。每一重文化身份都基于北美本土的宏观、微观社会语境而生成,代表了北美整体社会审视中国古典园林的视角与态度。

Abstract: Chinese classical gardens have four different identities in the cross-cultural context of North America.The classical gardens can be regarded as the media of Chinese culture and art,as the“front desk”of the pluralistic society,as the“monument”of cultural interaction,and as the cultural identity.Each identity represents the perspective and attitude of the whole North American society at the macro and micro levels in examining Chinese classical gardens.
