摘要: 作为中国当代抽象艺术最有代表性的艺术家之一,孟禄丁的艺术之路一直行走在
抽象艺术的“语言纯化”与东方文化的“身份认同”二者的巨大张力之中。所有迹象表明,
孟禄丁呈现了抽象艺术在身份认同和文化记忆上从“逃离”到“回归”、再到“重构”的
三部曲。特别值得注意的是,从“文化身份”的逃离到“文化记忆”的回归,抽象艺术在
孟禄丁这里不再是创作手法与策略的简单运用和调整,而是为中国抽象艺术乃至全世界的
人们“生产出回忆”也“生产出希望”。
Abstract: As one of the most representative artists of contemporary abstract art in China, Meng
Luding’s artistic path has always been walking in the huge tension between the “language
purification” of abstract art and the “identity recognition” of Eastern culture. All indications
suggest that Meng Luding presented a trilogy of abstract art in terms of identity and cultural
memory, from “escape” to “return”, and then to “reconstruction”. From the escape of “cultural
identity” to the return of “cultural memory”, Meng Luding’s abstract art is no longer a simple
application and adjustment of creative techniques and strategies, but rather “producing
memories” and “hopes” for Chinese abstract art and even people around the world.
