作为媒介的木刻:视觉化叙事、互文性生产与抗战动员一一以《新华日报》(华北版)木刻作品为例

Woodcut as a Medium: Visual Narrative, Intertextual Production and Anti-Japanese War Mobilization

摘要: 【摘要】延安木刻具有深厚的革命传统、强烈的抗战救国使命和“前线”意识。全面抗战爆发后,其作为革命的武器,以独特的媒介特性在前线发挥着动员民众的功能。《新华日报》(华北版)作为“华北抗战的向导”,亦是前线木刻的重要阵地,其刊载的木刻以视觉化图像叙事完成对民族革命精神的情感表达,发挥情感动员的功能;并通过历史与文本的互文性叙事,实现多维语境中木刻意义的再生产,强化动员的社会效果。由此以文字为代表的“想象的共同体”转向以图像为代表的“可见的共同体”,这体现了木刻抗战动员的革命化、视觉化和情感化内在逻辑。

Abstract: [Abstract] Yan’an woodcut has a profound revolutionary tradition, a strong mission of fighting against Japan and saving the nation, and a sense of "front line". After the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japan, as a revolutionary weapon, it played a role in mobilizing the masses in the front line with its unique media characteristics. Xinhua Daily (North China Edition), as "the guide of the Anti-Japanese War in North China", is also an important front of woodcut. The woodcut published by Xinhua Daily completed the emotional expression of the national revolutionary spirit with visual image narrative, and played the function of emotional mobilization. Through the intertextual narrative of history and text, the reproduction of woodcut meaning in multi-dimensional context was realized, and the social effect of mobilization was strengthened. As a result, the "imaginary community" represented by words turned to the "visible community" represented by images, which embodied the revolutionary, visual and emotional internal logic of the woodcut mobilization for the Anti-Japanese War.
