A Comparative Study of the Origins of the Global Higher Journalism Education Program and the Modern Chinese Practice of “Transformation”
摘要: 在近代中国新式教育兴起之际,新闻教育在时人推动下顺利进入高校教育体系。不同于其他西学事物,我国早期新闻教育事业与西方高校新闻教育活动兴起时段几乎接近,均发展于20世纪20年代左右。然而,由于面临不同的现代化进程与文化背景,西方国家新闻教育在进入高校时均历经了一段时期的接受过程,我国的新闻教育事业则因外部环境的动荡较快落地于各高校,形成具有显著时代烙印的发展轨迹。通过梳理对比东西方国家新闻教育事业发展脉络概况,能够在发现我国早期新闻学知识体系存在的问题基础上,为当下建设中国新闻学提供启迪。
Abstract: At the time of the emergence of new education in modern China, journalism education was successfully introduced into the university education system under the impetus of the people of the time. Unlike other western things, the early journalism education in China and the western journalism education activities in colleges and universities were almost close to each other, both developed around the 1920s. However, due to the different modernization process and cultural background, journalism education in western countries went through a period of acceptance when entering colleges and universities, while journalism education in China landed in colleges and universities faster due to the turbulence of the external environment, forming a development trajectory with a distinctive imprint of the times. By comparing and contrasting the development of journalism education between the East and the West, we can provide enlightenment for the construction of Chinese journalism nowadays on the basis of the problems that existed in the knowledge system of journalism in the early period of our country.
