新中国成立以来主流媒体中图书馆形象研究——以《人民日报》新闻报道为例

摘要: 随着时代的发展不断进行改革与转型，大众对图书馆产生了整体的主观感知与评价，形成了具有稳定性的特征印象，即图书馆的社会形象。主流媒体是塑造图书馆形象的重要媒介。为总结图书馆事业的发展成果，研究图书馆形象的阶段性特征与变化趋势。本研究基于对图书馆形象概念的解构，选取《人民日报》自1949年以来报道的新闻标题形成语料库，采用编码、关键词提取、构建词云等手段进行综合性的文本分析，获得主流媒体对于图书馆形象报道的关注程度、类型倾向、地区偏好，概括图书馆形象的情感基调、议题分布、阶段特征，归纳出图书馆整体呈现的机构形象、工具形象、服务形象、符号形象。提出加强空间形象建设、转变市场竞争思维、推动布局平衡、建设专业宣传推广部门等建议，以提升图书馆的社会形象。

Abstract: Continuously reforming and transforming with the times, the public has produced an overall subjective perception and evaluation of libraries, and formed a particular impression of them, which indicate the social image of libraries. Mainstream media is an important medium for shaping the image of libraries. The purpose of this paper is to summarize the achievements of library development, study the staging features and trends of library image, and optimize its operation and promotion strategies to better adapt to the times, based on the deconstruction of the concept of library image. This study selects the headlines of news reports related to libraries in “People’s Daily” from 1949 to 2022 to form a corpus, and uses coding, keyword extraction, and construction of word clouds to conduct a comprehensive text analysis. By this means, the level of attention and the preferences of library types and regions of mainstream media will be obtained; And the emotional inclination, issue distribution and staging features of library image are abstracted; The institutional image, tool image, service image and symbolic image of libraries are summarized. As a result, the characteristics and shortcomings of image building are analyzed, and the suggestions, such as strengthening the construction of spatial image, changing the mindset for marketing, promoting the equality of library career, building a professional, etc., are put forward.
