生成式人工智能“意义与传播”的符号学反思

摘要: 生成式人工智能（GAI）作为重塑社会文化结构的“抽象机器”，对其意义探讨具有重要价值。本研究基于传媒符号学，对GAI的意义来源、意义生成机制及意义传播模式进行反思性与机理性分析。研究发现：第一GAI的意义在与人类“共轭互反”的符号互动关系中被赋予；第二GAI基于输入、核心与应用层的技术构成，经过规则、适配与输出阶段构建起符号的逻辑性、价值性与开放性；第三基于概念整合网络分析GAI与人类符号系统拓扑结构的异同；第四基于符号三元模型探讨GAI的意义传播模式；最后，本研究强调，在“无所不能”的技术幻象面前，应坚守符号学对人工智能技术的批判与反思立场。

Abstract: As an "abstract machine" reshaping the socio-cultural structure, Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) holds significant value in the exploration of meaning. This study, grounded in media semiotics, conducts a reflective and mechanistic analysis of the origins of meaning in GAI, its meaning-generation mechanisms, and its modes of meaning dissemination. The findings reveal that: first, the meaning of GAI is endowed through a "conjugate reciprocity" in its semiotic interactions with humans; second, GAI generates semiotic meaning under the influence of three key mechanisms—logicality, openness, and value-orientation—analyzed through the lens of conceptual integration theory to examine its similarities and differences with the human semiotic system; third, based on the triadic model of signs, this study explores the modes of meaning dissemination of GAI in the cultural cycle. Furthermore, in response to challenges such as the meaning crisis, ideological manipulation, and the erosion of human subjectivity induced by GAI technologies, this research underscores the necessity of upholding a critical and reflective stance within semiotics toward artificial intelligence, resisting the illusion of an "omnipotent" technology.
