数字人文时代文学史料检索式阅读的方法、价值与限度

摘要: 检索式阅读是指利用检索工具查找相关文献并进行阅读。数字人文时代的文学史料检索式阅读，不必严格遵循先检索后阅读的程序，而是快速检索和快速阅读合而为一、互为目的。主要方法包括：明确阅读的主题和目的，确定需要检索的文学史料类型和范围；针对不同主题、类型的文学史料，选择合适的检索工具；挑选出符合需要的有价值的文学史料，进行快速精读。文学史料检索式阅读的价值虽有个人价值和社会价值之分，但主要在几个方面彰显出时代价值，即推动文化传承、有效缓解文学史料海量增长带来的阅读焦虑、建立纵深的文本网络关系、提供更加丰富多样化的阅读形式、培育“多而精”的阅读思想、提高学术素养和写作能力、培养批判性思维和创新能力等。同时须对它的限度有所考量，正确处理与文学研究的关系，既要明确前者是后者的辅助手段，也要看到文学史料检索式阅读存在一些局限和不足，纠正以检索代替读书、以检索取代研究的倾向，坚持和突出研究工作的主体性，以免沦为只会按图索骥、复制粘贴的工具。

Abstract: Retrieval based reading refers to using search tools to find relevant literature and read it. In the era of digital humanities, the retrieval based reading of literary historical materials does not need to strictly follow the procedure of first searching and then reading, but rather combines fast searching and fast reading into one and serves each other's purposes. The main methods include: clarifying the theme and purpose of the reading, determining the type and scope of literary historical materials that need to be retrieved; Select appropriate retrieval tools for literary historical materials of different themes and types; Select valuable literary historical materials that meet the needs and conduct quick and thorough reading. The value of retrieval based reading of literary historical materials can be divided into personal value and social value, but it mainly demonstrates the value of the times in several aspects, namely promoting cultural inheritance, effectively alleviating reading anxiety caused by the massive growth of literary historical materials, establishing deep textual network relationships, providing richer and more diverse reading forms, cultivating "many but refined" reading ideas, improving academic literacy and writing ability, cultivating critical thinking and innovation ability, etc. At the same time, it is necessary to consider its limitations and handle its relationship with literary research correctly. It is necessary to clarify that the former is an auxiliary means of the latter, and also to recognize the limitations and shortcomings of literature historical materials retrieval based reading. We should correct the tendency to replace reading and research with retrieval, adhere to and highlight the subjectivity of research work, and avoid becoming a tool that only knows how to follow the map and copy and paste.
