人工智能知识传播下的新阅读及其对社会的影响

New Reading in the Context of Artifi cial Intelligence Knowledge Dissemination and Its Impact on Society

摘要:        随着生成式人工智能的兴起,人们越来越多地通过阅读人工智能生成的知识来满足学习、工作和生活中的知识需求。这不仅重塑了人们的阅读方式,使阅读具备一些新的特点,也使得阅读的效果和社会影响与之前大相径庭。生成式人工智能中介的知识生产,生成的是人机共生的杂合知识、概率推断的计算知识、自适应式的选代知识、身体感知缺位的形式知识。这种新兴知识催生出提问式、加速化、随机式、批判性的阅读方式。由此可能带来自相矛盾的阅读效果一认知边界的拓宽与独立思考的放弃、知识传播效率的提升与知识理解错觉的产生、机器思维的培养与思维的机器化、创造力的激发与抑制。新阅读方式还会使原来的知识秩序发生变化,在社会认知、社会平等、社会权力结构等方面产生新的社会影响。

Abstract: With the rise of generative AI, people are increasingly reading AI-generated knowledge to meet their knowledge needs in study, work, and life. This not only reshapes the way people read and endows reading with new characteristics, but also the reading eff ect and social impact are very diff erent from previous reading. The knowledge production mediated by generative artificial intelligence generates heterogeneous knowledge of human-computer symbiosis, computational knowledge of probabilistic inference, adaptive iterative knowledge, and purely formal knowledge in the absence of body perception. The emerging knowledge has given rise to questioning, accelerated,random, and critical reading. This may bring about contradictory reading eff ects: the broadening of cognitive boundaries and the abandonment of independent thinking; the improvement of knowledge acceptance effi ciency and the generation of knowledge understanding illusions; the cultivation of machine thinking and the mechanization of thinking; and the stimulation as well as inhibition of creativity. The new way of reading will also change the original order of knowledge, and have a new social impact on social cognition, social equality, and social power structure.
