From Huizhou Business Apprenticeship to Modern Vocational Education System
摘要: 本文文章从制度变迁和地方化知识更新的双重视角梳理了芜湖职业教育从晚清到民国初期(1891-1937)的转型过程,分析了芜湖成为通商口岸后,经济结构重组以及职业教育现代化转型的互动关系,认为清末民初芜湖的职业教育转型的本质,是传统的以儒学和农耕经济为根基、具有地域文化特色的封建职业教育模式,面对开埠通商、技术革命以及革命思潮等现代文化元素的冲击,所产生的互动与适应的结果。以芜湖为典型探寻我国区域职业教育发展的特色规律,为当下职业教育的发展提供历史借鉴。
Abstract: From the perspective of institutional change and the renewal of localized knowledge, this paper combs the transformation process of Wuhu’s vocational education from the late Qing Dynasty to the early Republic of China (1891-1937), analyses the interaction between the economic restructuring and the modernization of vocational education after Wuhu became a trading port, and concludes that the essence of the transformation of Wuhu’s vocational education in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. It is the result of interaction and adaptation of the traditional feudal vocational education mode with regional cultural characteristics based on Confucianism and farming economy, facing the impact of modern cultural elements such as port opening, technological revolution and revolutionary trend of thought. Taking Wuhu as a typical example, this paper explores the characteristics and laws of the development of regional vocational education in China, and provides historical reference for the development of current vocational education.
